Creepy clown with a machete arrested in Waterboro Maine
HOLLIS, Maine (NEWS CENTER) […] According to State Trooper Adam Schmidt, concerned residents in Hollis spotted a man walking near Little Mart on Plains Road wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and a clown mask, holding a machete. He then reportedly ran off into the woods. […] 31-year-old Corey Berry of Hollis was taken into custody and charged with criminal threatening. […] his machete was duct taped to his arm, which state police say was apparently amputated. Trooper Schmidt said Berry was very intoxicated but cooperated with state police. Berry told officers he was trying to play a prank and copied previous creepy clown sightings, according to Trooper Schmidt. Source: WCSH6 News
Man with Ax arrested outside Kiss 108 Studios after Song Request
MEDFORD (CBS) – A man demanding to hear a song by the Insane Clown Posse on Kiss 108 was arrested after a tense standoff with police Monday afternoon. As police pulled an ax and several large knives from the suspect’s car, witnesses were still trying to digest what they had just seen. “He was just out of his mind, absolutely out of his mind the entire time,” said witness Greg Gross. “He got out of his car with a machete, stopped a girl who worked up on the second floor and said ‘I want you to play a song for me,’” Doreen Schaivone told WBZ-TV. The character is the entity that preys upon the local children of Derry, Maine roughly every twenty-seven years, using a variety of powers that include the ability to shape shift, manipulate, and go unnoticed by adults. King came up with the idea for Pennywise after asking himself what scared children “more than anything else in the world”, which he felt was clowns.
