Halloween – The Eve of the Devil Part 5

Ghosts, Goblins and the Paranormal.

1st John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

Ghosts

Ghost: an apparition of a dead person that is believed to appear or become manifest to the living, typically as a nebulous image. synonyms: specter, phantom, wraith, spirit, presence

As a snot-nosed kid growing up, my vision of a ghost was of “Casper the “friendly ghost” as portrayed in the old classic cartoon, shown in the video clip to the left. Those who were blessed with a TV set, back in those days, were treated to Saturday morning cartoons like Casper, Scooby Doo and other cartoons that depicted a not so scary side of ghosts, monsters and the like.

All the way back in my younger days, they were already working to condition young people to accept their satanic agenda. Thank the Lord he kept me outdoors most of the time so escaped being indoctrinated by the one-eyed monster…… well, mostly!

Sad to say, today’s young people are not that lucky. In our society, it is nearly impossible for them to avoid, which is why we are in for a world of hurt in the very near future!!

In folklore, mythology, and modern media such as literary fiction, a ghost (sometimes known as a spectre [British English] or specter [American English], phantom, apparition, spirit, spook, or haunt) is the soul or spirit of a dead person or animal that can appear, in visible form or other manifestation, to the living. Descriptions of the apparition of ghosts vary widely from an invisible presence to translucent or barely visible wispy shapes, to realistic, lifelike visions. The deliberate attempt to contact the spirit of a deceased person is known as necromancy, or in spiritism as a séance. The belief in manifestations of the spirits of the dead is widespread, dating back to animism or ancestor worship in pre-literate cultures. Certain religious practices—funeral rites, exorcisms, and some practices of spiritualism and ritual magic—are specifically designed to rest the spirits of the dead. Ghosts are generally described as solitary essences that haunt particular locations, objects, or people they were associated with in life, though stories of phantom armies, ghost trains, phantom ships, and even ghost animals have also been recounted. Now, let’s get real about Ghosts!
Ghosts are not what you think at all. What you call “Ghosts” are actually demon spirits.

Demons are the disembodied spirits of the Nephilim who are mentioned in Genesis chapter six. The Nephilim are the offspring of fallen angels and humans. The Nephilim were destroyed in the flood, yet their spirits remained on the earth. This view is the oldest belief among the Jewish people. It is a belief that the apostles held to as well. Let me prove why I believe this.

From the facts of the Bible concerning demons, they are disembodied spirits—that is, they once had bodies but lost them. This explains why they hunt for bodies. They crave bodies to inhabit.

Matthew 12:43When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.44 Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.45 Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.

Demons are the powers of this dark world, while fallen angels are the spiritual forces of evil in the high places. Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Ghosts, Aliens & UFO’s Are Satanic Demonic Deception (excellent, though long, video)

The ancient people, and many cultures even today, worshipped the dead. The dead were worshipped for various reasons. One being that people believed in reincarnation and/or the “circle of life”. To them, all was connected and therefore they could receive guidance and enlightenment from their dead ancestors. Secondly they believed that spirits of the dead walked the earth at night, especially during the Halloween season. So, they tried to placate them to avoid being tormented, or they invited them to visit them or even possess them. This was the old “if you can’t beat them, join them” train of thinking.

The basis of ancestor worship seems to stem from two principle ideas: (1) that “those who have gone before” have a continual and beneficent interest in the affairs of the living; and (2) more widespread, uneasiness, fear of the dead, with practices to placate them.

“On All Souls Day in Brittany, people go to the cemetery to pray for their ancestor’s souls. There is a place called the place of bones where the remains of those long departed are kept together in one tomb. People come to visit this tomb – they walk along the entrance and touch the rows of skulls. They do this so they feel closer to their ancestors. Source
…ghosts are not considered ancestral dead, but identities who are impersonal, unidentifiable, unpredictable, inimical, or malignant. Such acts as ridding houses of the spirits of the dead or foiling ghosts, are common, but they are magical acts rather than rites of worship and reverence. Source

In this next excerpt we see how in the Koreans who were greatly influenced by the Buddist religion, because the do not believe in one God, see the world in a completely different light than western Judeo/Christians. They are open to all types of spirits and spiritual influences.

The shin in shinhwa are a breed apart. They are the gods who live in the heavens and more or less rule over the earth. The other shin (also called chapshin, chap meaning “various” or “miscellaneous”) live on the earth and interact quite regularly with humans; these chapshin are a product of Korean folk religions. Ghosts, faeries, guardian spirits, and even what would be considered monsters in the West are all described by the term chapshin. Interestingly, ghosts and monsters in Korea do not hold the same place of horror and dread as they do in the west; there are, in fact, no truly evil chapshin. A ghost may of course take revenge on someone who has done them wrong, but the Western vampires, ghouls, zombies and the like–fearsome monsters evil to the core–have no counterparts in Korea. Chapshin often act as judges or guardians, punishing the evil and rewarding or protecting the good. This harmony with the supernatural comes from the Buddhist influence with its circular worldview. Life and death are not separate states of being, they are merely part of the same process. Source

When you choose to believe in ghosts/spirits, you open yourself up to demonic activity. Whether you practice ancestor worship or you believe in wandering spirits the result is the same. You have given them power over you. You actually fear them, more than you fear the one true God. You are honoring them over His word. What you fear most has power over you. If you believe that random spirits of the dead are free to come and go and torment people, you are going to be afraid. You are going to try to do anything to stay clear of them or in their good graces. This is in total defiance of God. Likewise, if you believe that you are forever connected in the “circle of life” to your ancestors and that they are ever available to lead and guide you, this too is an affront to God. You are to look to Him for your guidance, comfort, provision, and no one else. Therefore, you are placing those spirits ahead of God. That is worship.

2nd Timothy 1:7 “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” Fear is something Satan has placed in your mind and that is a stronghold in your life! Even the Disciples were fearful and thought Jesus was a “spirit” when he came to them walking on the water. Matthew 14:26 “And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear.”

In her book entitled “Redeeming the Land” pages 16 &17, Gwen Shaw explains that when blood is shed in a violent way, whether that is through an accident, physical attack, or war, blood is spilled on the ground. “Numbers 33 You shall not pollute the land wherein ye are: for blood it defileth the land; and the land cannot be cleansed of the blood that is shed therein, but by the blood of him that shed it.” So you clearly see, that place where the act takes place is now opened to demonic activity. Ground is given to the enemy, by virtue of the blood shed there. That is why Abel’s blood was crying out to God. So, once the door is open, spirits will move in, occupy and travel in and out of the area. People assume that because the spirit or ghost appears where the violence took place that it is the ghost of the person who died. Not so. Demons are able to manifest in any manner they please. They will naturally manifest in a manner which they know you will receive them. If you want to believe it is the spirit of your dead grandmother, that is how they will appear. If you want to believe it is the ghost of some little girl that died there 100 years ago, then that is how you will see it. Demons know you better than you know yourself. And because they are spirit, they are already in eternity, they can travel through time.

Goblins

A goblin is a legendary evil or mischievous grotesque dwarf-like daemon or monster that appeared in European stories and accounts during the Middle Ages They are ascribed various (sometimes conflicting) abilities, temperaments and appearances depending on the story and country of origin In some cases, goblins are little creatures related to the brownie and gnome. They are usually small, sometimes only a few inches tall, sometimes the size of a dwarf, and have magical abilities; they are greedy, especially for gold and jewelry.

Goblins actually go back much farther than the Middle Ages and appeared in many parts of the world including the Middle East. The following article introduces some of the different versions of Goblins. One of those is the Bogey which is where the common tale of the “Boogey Man” originated. Great article w/pics here about Goblins

Like ghouls, goblins are malicious, though perhaps not as nightmarish as the flesh eaters above. Agoblin is a “grotesque sprite or elf.” Goblins can be mischievous. They can also assume human and animal form and assail people. Goblin comes from the German kobold. In German folklore, a kobold was a mischievous household spirit. Sometimes the kobold is helpful and sings to children. But too often, he hides valuable household items, kicks people, and erupts in rage when he doesn’t get enough food. Source

As we saw with Ghosts, Goblins are not at all what we think. If you have studied the days of Noah and the Nephilim, you know that way back then the demons were messing with DNA. Not only were they having intercourse with humans, they were mixing the DNA of all species. So, demon and human DNA mixed with animals, insects, and fish. Do you get the picture? Forming hybrids of all kinds. Perversion at its utmost. This is how these creatures came to be. The scientists unwittingly confirm that. Take a look at this next article.
