Magic as a National Treasure

Was 7, Now 11 Congressmen want to make Magic, which is Witchcraft, a National Treasure

Magic and Witchcraft in Texas – Part 1

Isaiah 19:3 “And the spirit of Egypt (substitute America for Egypt) shall fail in the midst thereof; and I will destroy the counsel thereof: and they shall seek to the idols, and to the charmers, and to them that have familiar spirits, and to the wizards.”

How far have we fallen? Can it really be, that we have strayed so far from the truth that we cannot even recognize that Magic is Witchcraft! Witchcraft is a recognized religion. Resolution 642, currently being reviewed for approval by the House of Representatives, seeks to declare MAGIC, a National Treasure. It seems absurd for Congress to even consider such a move, when all they do is holler “separation of church and state”. Obviously, the only Church they want the State to separate from is True Christianity. When it comes to accepting ANY other man-made, devil inspired “religion”, they seem to have no problem at all!!!

It would appear that some magic spell has been cast over the gate keepers of the Christian community. This Resolution is a very big story that should have been picked up back in March, when it was first introduced. However, it seems to have gone undetected by the Saints, even though the major liberal news outlets have reported on it. Upon running a Google search, I found none of the major Christian news outlets with a story on it. Perhaps goggle is just censoring the Christian point of view, in the search results, something they practice regularly. I considered that I might find something way down deep in the search list. So I ran a search under “Pete Sessions introduces Magic bill”, it brought up 3,220,000 on the first search, and when I refreshed my browser, suddenly like “Magic” the results were reduced to 1,400,000. I browsed through the listings 10 pages deep and found no Christian articles. Most of what was listed in the search results was news articles totally unrelated to the search query. Again, that could just be censorship.

I have a regular habit of scanning the Major Secular and Christian news outlets every morning before work, and every evening after work, and have not seen a word about it. So, for the past 49 days, from March 14, 2016 to date, this issue has received no mention what so ever from the Christian News outlets! I have to wonder why Christians are not covering this matter? Could it be that they see nothing wrong with it? Could it be they avoid it like they avoid the “Sipping Saint” and the alcohol problem in the church? Could it be that they dabble in and “Believe in Magic”? OR…… 1st Corinthians 2:14 “But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” Looking for the hate mail button? The way I learned of Resolution 642, was through my editor, who sent me a link to the government’s page. Coincidentally, she had only recently completed an extensive 27 part series – Do you believe in Magic which was in the works long before this bill was even introduced. If you run a search for “Do you believe in Magic” you’ll get 78,000,000 results, the first few pages being related to the song by The Lovin’ Spoon Full intermingled with a few sites on witchcraft.

In my search for a Christian perspective related to the Resolution, I discovered that “they” have been trying to get such legislation in place, since the 1960s: ”Sessions has been recognized in the past by the Society of American Magicians, which has been pushing Congress to recognize magic as an art form since the 1960s.” This certainly seems an opportune time for them to push this legislation through. This current society has been so “dumbed down” and are so Biblically ignorant Congress can expect little opposition for their satanic agenda. As evidenced by current events.

HR. 642 – Recognizing magic as a rare and valuable art form and national treasure.

The Witchcraft Coven members behind this Resolution are:

Head Warlocks:
Rep. Pete Sessions
– Republican from Texas and a Methodist – introduced HR 642.

Eric Hogue – Republican – Mayor of Wylie Texas – Minister Cottonwood Church of Christ – He is the Magician responsible for inspiring Sessions to introduce the Bill

Fellow Co-Warlocks include:
Rep. Steve Stivers – Republican from Ohio and a member of the United Methodist Church
Rep. Pat Meehan – Republican from Pennsylvania and a Roman Catholic
Rep. Dan Donovan – Republican from New York and a Roman Catholic
Rep. Charlie Dent – Republican from Pennsylvania and a Presbyterian
Rep. Ken Buck – Republican from Colorado listed as a Christian (denomination unknown)
Rep. Mike Simpson – Republican from Idaho and a Mormon

Is it odd that there are no Democrats in the mix? I thought if you were a Republican, and attended as member of a “Christian Denomination” you would know that magic is witchcraft, and refrain from it as the Bible teaches, not embrace it! Isn’t the Republican Party supposed to be the party of God? I also wonder if these good ole boys are all Free Masons?

Quote from ABC News:
“A spokesperson from Sessions’ office told ABC News that the congressman’s constituency is home to a “robust magic community” and the issue was brought to his attention by a constituent, Eric Hogue, the mayor of Wylie, Texas. Hogue, a former magician, thought it was important to have magic declared an art.”

Quotes from Politico:
It’s not the first time Sessions has pushed the bill, which was referred to the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, and tries to make sure that magic is “preserved, understood, and promulgated.”

The bill puts forth a case for the good powers of magic in cracking open children’s imagination and name checks some of the more famous American magicians, including Harry Houdini and David Copperfield.

Sessions has been recognized in the past by the Society of American Magicians, which has been pushing Congress to recognize magic as an art form since the 1960s.”

Quote from Mediate:
“Maybe this is all just stealth marketing for JK Rowling‘s new tales about magic in America and the Magical Congress of the United States. Though frankly, the only thing magical about this Congress is that their approval rating is somehow above zero.”

Quote from The Dallas News:
“The goal, according to the measure is to “support efforts to make certain that magic is preserved, understood and promulgated” — and, a key North Texas backer says, to make it easier to get grants from arts programs.”

There you go! The bottom line is ALWAYS MONEY. The real reason they are seeking this legislation, it is to get MONEY from foundations and the government to help further the doctrine of Devils! Always follow the money!

1st Timothy 6:10-12 “For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

What does the Bible say about magic, magicians, Illusionists? From Got Questions

“There is a difference between the magicians spoken of in the Bible and the magicians and illusionists one sees today at parties and in stage show acts. (see my note below on that statement) The magicians in the Bible either gained their power from demonic forces or else they were little more than charlatans who pretended to have great knowledge or to discover secrets, tell fortunes, and predict things to come.

The word “magic” is actually used six times in the Bible, three times in the Old Testament and three times in the New Testament. However, the word, “magician(s)” is used 15 times. We know that the Egyptians worshipped many gods and that magic played an important part in the rituals of their high priests. It was through the deception of magic that the Egyptians were made to believe their gods actually had power. Genesis speaks of magicians in pharaoh’s service. But it is interesting to note that they were powerless to interpret pharaoh’s dream (Genesis 41:8), prompting pharaoh to send for Joseph, who interpreted it correctly because he spoke the words God gave him.

The book of Exodus speaks of magicians practicing what is called “secret arts” (Exodus 8:7), as they brought up frogs and thereby replicating God’s plague on the land of Egypt. Magic in this case was used in an attempt to mock God by mimicking the miracles God performed through Moses. Magic and sorcery played a major role in the pantheistic religion of Egypt. Its ancient documents record the magicians’ activities, one of the most prominent being the charming of serpents. These men were also self-styled “wise men” and “sorcerers”—the learned men of the day and the religious as well. Two of these men, named Jannes and Jambres, are mentioned in 2 Timothy 3:8. Any supernatural power they may have had came from Satan (2 Corinthians 11:13-15). If not supernaturally inspired, they simply practiced their trade by optical illusion, sleight of hand, or the learned physical manipulation of things such as snakes. Whatever the case, deceit was their aim, and they were sufficiently skillful to completely fool pharaoh and his servants.”

Note: I completely disagree with the first sentence in this next paragraph. The Bible says in 1st Thessalonians 5:22 “Abstain from all appearance of evil.”, and that includes magic as entertainment! If the Bible says it, I believe it, and that settles it! Drug addicts and Alcoholics started out with the easy stuff too! Fascination and curiosity can and will lead to destruction as many have discovered, to their peril!

“In regard to the magicians and illusionists we see today, if they are nothing more than entertainers, there is probably nothing wrong with being entertained by them. If, however, they are involved with the occult, clearly this is something Christians must avoid. The difficulty is in knowing which are associated with the occult and which are not. In any case, wisdom and discernment are needed whenever dealing with any form of magic or illusion.”

Herein is the problem. The church is gelded and unable discern spiritual matters! Once again, here is 1st Corinthians 2:14 “But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” THERE IS NO LEVEL OF MAGIC THAT IS ACCEPTABLE! There is no such thing as White Magic. The only thing that matters is the root. Everything else is a lie. The devil loves to candy coat evil, to make it palatable and appealing to your lustful flesh. Is it really worth trading your eternal soul, for a few minutes of ENTERTAINMENT?

Make sure you take the time and go through the 27 part series – Do you believe in Magic and see just how infiltrated and hidden all this deception is!

If you go to the store to buy Meat, don't run to the Milk section or the Junk Food aisle looking for it!!

The Meat Section is the True Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The Milk Section is likened to those who will not preach on sin and Hell, just a feel good message, the Social gospel.

The Junk Food Isle is the outright false doctrine AKA the prosperity gospel, name it and claim it, the Hebraic Roots movement and other false teachings!!

Feasting on just Milk and Junk will eventually cause you great harm, you can count on it!!
