Generational, Ancestral and Family Curses Part 6

How to break the curse and assure yourself that your name is written in the Lambs Book of Life!

Jon Watkins  Exposing Satanism  July 16, 2015

So how does one break an ancestral curse?
“Elementary my dear Watson, elementary” (Sherlock Holmes never did say those exact words) but Jesus did use these words in Matthew 18:3 “And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.”

Galatians 2:20 “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”

John 3:3 “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

John 14:6 “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”

The first thing you must do is realize you can’t do it on your own. You are powerless in the flesh and WILL remain defeated until you have Jesus Christ working and advocating for you.

1st John 4:4 “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” Note scripture says “greater is he that is in you“, not you.

God gave us the Commandments to demonstrate what is required of man to stand before a holy God. Prior to the fall, man was naturally in a state of holiness and obedience to God. Once man fell, his spirit man died. He is no longer able to understand and recognize spiritual things. However, because he ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, and he has a conscience, he has a natural sense that he is not living right. So, the FIRST and MOST IMPORTANT thing to do is to acknowledge the fact that you are a sinner in need of a Savior. Recognize that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and he was sent to die on the Cross paying the price for your sins. (“for the wages of sin is death”) That and that alone with NOTHING else added to it is all that is required for one to be Born Again of the Spirit. In the Old Testament, before Jesus died on the Cross, the Hebrews had to sacrifice an animal to cover their sins. Note that I said “COVER” and not take away sins. The blood of animals was never sufficient to remove sin. It was a temporary solution for the sin problem, a type and shadow of the ultimate sacrifice that was to come. That is why there was a constant need when a person sinned, and in some cases that might be many times daily, they had to offer up an animal sacrifice to God. Oh but friend, we no longer have to offer up a sacrifice to God for our sins. That price was paid once for all by the perfect, spotless Lamb of God. All we have to do is accept the fact that God loved us so much that he sent His Son who willingly laid down his life for us. Jesus (who was God in human flesh) shed his Blood, took upon Himself the sins of all men to restore us to right standing with GOD. Because he purchased us by his blood, God was able to once again, breathe into us the life of the Spirit. He went even farther than that, he offers to all who seek him, the gift of his Holy Spirit. When we are filled with the Holy Spirit we are empowered to walk free. Totally free, No longer slaves to our sin nature. That is if, we have our faith in the proper place and that is Jesus Christ and him crucified. What did the Apostle Paul say? 1st Corinthians 1:18 “For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.”

Now, the Hebrews in the Old Testament, never had that power. So their sacrifices could only purchase temporary covering for sin, and with only a few exceptions (certain people in the Old Testament had the Holy Spirit upon them, not in them), they had to walk in obedience to the law, by their own strength and understanding. That is why they were never able walk in obedience. The New Testament Saints have the power of the blood of Jesus, that washes them white as snow and puts them in right standing, AND they have the power of the Holy Spirit, who is their comforter, their guide, the one who leads them to all truth, and enables them to walk in obedience. We are not powerless and subject to sin any more. Jesus paid it all. All we have to do is align ourselves with the truth and keep our eyes and faith exclusively in Jesus and what he did for us. That is all there is too it and most can’t comprehend and accept it because it’s too easy. The plan of God is easy, but putting that plan into action, accepting and applying it in our daily lives is very hard. That Sin Nature is always there waiting to become dominate once again. That is way we MUST have our focus on Jesus every minute of every day and set our hearts to walk in truth.

Everything in the Old Testament is types and shadows, all pointing to Jesus Christ. In order to understand and comprehend the Word of God, one must have the mind of God so to speak. To have the mind of God you must be Born Again and filled with the Holy Spirit. Spiritual things are spiritually discerned. If you are not lead by the Spirit, reading the Bible will be the same as reading a child’s fairytale. This is the problem with Atheists, Agnostics and the like. They do not have the ability to understand because they are spiritually dead. They do not have the Holy Spirit to guide them and bring them revelation. No, I am not speaking of the hidden things revealed through Gnostic practice or Occult knowledge. 2nd Corinthians 4:3-5 “But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. 5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake.” ALL we need is given to us in God’s Word.

Once you are born again, you are a new creature. You are once again alive spiritually. God begins to write His Word upon your heart. You find that you are being changed from the inside out. The things that used to consume your life, begin to lose their appeal. You start to see more clearly how your attitudes and behaviors were totally out of line. You find yourself desiring more and more to please God and be swayed less by the world and the opinions of others. When you become filled with the Holy Spirit, he will start to reveal to you various things that you need to remove from your life. James 4:7 “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”

Works won’t break a curse. Nor will water baptism, reciting scripture over and over, holding a crucifix or rubbing on Rosary beads. If you think keeping the law, following a ten or twelve step program, belonging to a particular church or denomination, or adhering to the rules, rituals or doctrines of any other man made program will break it, you’re sadly mistaken. Faith in any thing man can contrive in his limited mind will not break a curse or keep you out of Hell. There are so many of these ridiculous things good meaning people have concocted. They will do you no good. Satan will laugh at you if you think they will. I know as I have tried many of them and failed every time. That is, until I discovered what the real problem was, where it came from and how to overcome it.

The great Apostle Paul struggled with the very things we all do. Paul said in Romans 7:14-20 “For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin. 15 For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. 16 If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good.17 Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. 18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.19 For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. 20 Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. 21 I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.”

If the chosen men of God, the very ones He selected to bring forth His Word struggled with sin and the flesh, how can we be so arrogant as to think we have arrived and do not need to heed the Words He gave them? It would do every believer good to take the time to study verse by verse, Chapters 6, 7 and 8 of Romans. There Paul gives us the problem, the cause and the solution to overcome the sin nature that resides in ALL of us. As a side note, one should study the entire book of Hebrews carefully and prayerfully. Hebrews shows us how the enemy brings in false doctrine under the banner of religion and religious practices. Religion WILL SEND YOU TO HELL people! God is about relationship, not religion.

Whether you call it a curse, the sin nature, human nature or any other thing, the fact remains there is one answer and one cure. That is Jesus Christ and what he did on the cross for all humanity.
