‘This is about the deep-seated legacy of slavery and white supremacy in America’
Kelen McBreen | Info Wars – The Editor in Chief of Yahoo Music is calling for America’s national anthem to be replaced with a song by John Lennon of The Beatles.
In an article released Wednesday titled, “Why it might be time to finally replace ‘The Star-Spangled Banner’ with a new national anthem,” Yahoo’s Lyndsey Parker claimed the song is “striking a note” with the politically correct mob.
She pointed out that last week, “protesters” in San Francisco tore down a statue of the song’s composer Francis Scott Key.
Parker noted Key was a slaveholder, but The Washington Examiner provided further context, explaining he “opposed abolition but also represented slaves trying to win their freedom in court, for no charge. It turns out like many historical figures, Key was a complicated man.”
The Yahoo writer then asked, “So, is it time for this country to dispense with ‘The Star-Spangled Banner’ and adopt a new anthem with a less troubling history and a more inclusive message?”
The author went on to quote multiple historians and activists on the subject, with activist Daniel E. Walker saying, “I do side with the people who say that we should rethink this as the national anthem, because this is about the deep-seated legacy of slavery and white supremacy in America.”
In the Yahoo article, Journalist Kevin Powell mentioned a little-known third stanza of the song that says, “No refuge could save the hireling and slave,” calling it “blatantly racist.”
However, he does not explain how simply mentioning the fact that slaves were among the individuals in danger from the bombardment being described in the song is “racist.”
Powell made sure to point out that he doesn’t “pass judgment” on black Americans who have performed the song throughout history, saying, “What Jimi Hendrix did with ‘The Star-Spangled Banner’ at Woodstock, or the way that Marvin Gaye reinterpreted it and made it a soul song, or Whitney Houston singing it at the Super Bowl in 1991, it became something that belonged to all people, not just folks that thought we should just blindly sing this song.”
Asked by Yahoo what the replacement national anthem should be, Daniel E. Walker said whatever it is, it must go through a “vetting process.”
Powell, on the other hand, suggested John Lennon’s “Imagine,” as a replacement anthem, calling it “the most beautiful, unifying, all-people, all-backgrounds-together kind of song you could have.”
That description is interesting considering John Lennon himself referred to the hit track as “virtually the Communist Manifesto.”
A semi-pro soccer team called Tulsa Athletic of the National Premier Soccer League has already ditched the “Star-Spangled Banner” and replaced it with Woody Guthrie’s “This Land is Your Land.”
Note: BTW, Bolshevik Bernie Sanders sang that song with his comrades during his honeymoon to Russia!
I don’t see why anyone should be surprised by this suggestion. They have been using that song relentlessly for decades. It has been an excellent mind control tool, and one of the main contributors to the attitude of today’s postmodernists. It appears to be the United Nations theme song. Since the United Nations is the major human force behind the New World Order, (though we all know the real force behind the UN is the AntiChrist) it seems only natural that they would want the WORLD to adopt “IMAGINE” as their theme song, not just the USA.
IMAGE is a powerful word. IMAGINATION is the devil’s tool. He knows that if he can get an image in your mind he has won the battle. In God’s judgment, if you have committed sin in your mind, you have already done it. That is the entire reason the Devil created VIRTUAL REALITY!
For now, the movement to make this the national anthem for the USA doesn’t appear to have enough traction to catch on, but as Americans have witnessed over the past few weeks, nothing is safe from cancel culture. We also know that the enemy is relentless. This is one of their goals…so they will continue to push it.
John Lennon’s Imagine

Stewart – Imagine first appeared on the Billboard chart on September 18, 1971, reaching #1 and spending a total of 30 weeks. “Imagine” was John Lennon’s second major release apart from the Beatles. Released on September 9, 1971 (US) and October 8, 1971 (UK), it has remained John’s most commercially successful album. It was recorded primarily in John’s home studio which turned out to be the last time he would ever record in England.
The first tract on the album, Imagine, would become Lennon’s legacy to a world living in rebellion against God. In the song, Lennon paints an “unrealistic” picture of life in the minds of his listeners. He sees a world without Heaven or Hell, without religion. He sees a world without countries, borders and without war.
Though such a “dream” may seem admirable to many people, Lennon’s dream CLEARLY requires an abandonment of God and His Word. Sin is ignored. The Bible has divided more people than any other book ever written. Luke 12:51-53
Why is this? It’s simply because there is a Heaven and Hell. Sin is a reality of life. There is a malicious Devil who works relentlessly to DECEIVE us (2nd Corinthians 4:4; 2nd Corinthians 11:3). There is a Loving God in Heaven Who has provided us with a plan of redemption through faith in Jesus Christ (Acts 10:43). Humanity, without GOD, is subject to their sinful nature and vulnerable to demonic forces. (Isaiah 64:6; Romans 3:10, 19-23).
John Lennon’s dream is a nightmare to many, including myself. But, for the sake of argument, let’s consider it was a dream we could all agree upon. Unfortunately, we would soon discover that. no matter how hard we try to fulfill that dream, it WILL inevitably fail because fallen humans are wicked, dirty, rotten, conniving, lying, stealing, murderous, hell-bound, sinners! This is exactly what is wrong with modern psychology. Whether you believe the Bible or not, you CANNOT deny historical facts. If history has taught us only one thing, it has taught us that men DON’T learn from their mistakes. History always repeats itself. (Ecclesiastes 1:9) The Bible describes the woeful condition of mankind like no other Book. Who are we to argue with God?
Without GOD, man’s thoughts are only evil all the time. Not only that, we fail to recognize that it is GOD who holds the world together. We have come to think that science can control everything. NOT SO, science can control nothing! They make an adjustment here only to find out later that it causes bigger problems somewhere else. Sooner or later we will all come to recognize that we NEED GOD. We will eventually also learn, that GOD is in CONTROL. One day, every knee will bow and every tongue confess, that Jesus Christ is LORD. Why, because GOD said so!
In Colossians 1:15-17 it states: “He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by him all things were created; things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones, powers, rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things HOLD TOGETHER.”
Did you know that the most critical molecule in our bodies is called Laminin and it is shaped like a cross. Laminins are a group of glycoproteins which are absolutely vital for the maintenance and survival of living tissues in all organisms. They are integral to structural scaffolding and influence cell differentiation, migration, and adhesion. Laminin is a protein molecule that literally holds the cells within our bodies together. Without Laminin ours bodies could not survive.
What a wonderful image of our precious Savior – the cross molecules that hold all living things together like glue?

Did you read that? Lennon sang, “Imagine there’s no heaven… it’s EASY if you try.” It’s easy if you try? Well, not exactly John. You see Psalm 19:1 proclaims that “The heavens declare the glory of God…” It would be very difficult to deny something that is so obvious. In fact, let’s look at Romans 1:20 (I’m about to discourage anyone who shares Lennon’s dream of a utopian world without God)…
Romans 1:20 “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:”
Romans 1:20 plainly warns that no one has an excuse not to acknowledge and obey God in their life. Certainly, Lennon’s message sounds lovely. Only a hateful person would want war and bloodshed, which religion often leads to. However, John Lennon’s views are not reality. War is a fact of life, because sin is a fact of life.
I wonder how many people even hear the line that says imagine NO POSSESSIONS. Maybe they think that is not to be taken literally. However, that is exactly what the New Order is declaring. They want to outlaw personal possession/ownership of anything. What do you think about that? Nothing to call your own.
The truth is that evil men are never satisfied with what they have. They always want what you have got. No matter how much more they have. As long as there are lustful, greedy, proud, murderous, hateful people in the world there will be a necessity to go to war. It would be great if we were all perfect, and there were no sinners, and we could all respect and love one another; but that’s not the situation at all.
We are sinners… Romans 3:10 “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.”
Sadly, despite the Vatican’s attempt to forgive John’s sins, it’s too late for him.
Lennon’s song, Imagine, is nothing more than a delusional and misguided fantasy. Tragically, many people in the world today are trying to fulfill Lennon’s impossible dream. It’s the religion of New Age and it’s vehicle is the New World Order, i.e., the Beast System of the coming Antichrist. New Age teachings ignore the reality of sin, the necessity for divine judgment and the justice of being punished in the fires of Hell. We all deserve to burn in Hell for our own sins.
The root teaching of New Age is that mankind is not sinful, which eliminates the need for salvation and a Savior. This is not reality. Anyone with a brain sees the wickedness of mankind. Everyone blames religious people; but it’s mankind as a whole. The truth is, they teach that there is no sin. No reason for judgment. So, if someone wants to rob you, rape your wife or your two year old, or kill you, no biggy. No sin. Just one person exercising their desire over yours.
Satan is a master deceiver… 2nd Corinthians 11:13-14 “For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light”.
Satan is a con-artist. When The Beatles came to America, America’s preachers weren’t just angry about the devilish music. They were also concerned about the worldly philosophies of The Beatles. From Paul McCartney’s praise of Roman Catholicism in the hit song, Let It Be, to George Harrison’s praise of Hare Krishna in his song, My Sweet Lord, The Beatles brought evil to America.
It was in the hit song, Back In The U.S.S.R., that The Beatles praised Communist Russia. One of Paul McCartney’s songs was titled, “Why Don’t We Do It In The Road.” The Beatles represented everything unholy: fornication, drug abuse, rebellion, Communism, blasphemy against Jesus Christ, false religion, and even allegiance to Satan, as I will show you in a moment.

Lest you think that Aleister Crowley (born Edward Alexander Crowley, 1875-1947) was just some crazy fool that no one took seriously, think again. Crowley has had a large influence upon modern rock music. Unbeknownst to most Americans, much of the Hellish music which they idolize was written and sung by devout followers of Crowley and his Satanism.
The cover of the Sergeant Pepper’s album by the Beatles showed a background of, according to Ringo Starr, people “we like and admire” (Hit Parade, Oct. 1976, p.14). Paul McCartney said of Sgt. Pepper’s cover, “. . . we were going to have photos on the wall of all our HEROES . . .” (Musician, Special Collectors Edition, – Beatles and Rolling Stones, 1988, p.12). One of the Beatle’s heroes included on the cover of Sgt. Pepper’s was — the infamous Satanist, Aleister Crowley! Most people, especially in 1967, did not even know who Crowley was — but the Beatles certainly did.

The Beatles apparently took Crowley’s teaching very seriously — Beatles John Lennon, in an interview, says the “whole idea of the Beatles” was “do what thou wilt”— Crowley’s famous bywords.

Crowley has had a great influence on rock & roll. The International Times voted Crowley “the unsung hero of the hippies.” One man who helped popularize Crowley’s work among rockers is avant-garde film artist Kenneth Anger. He claimed that his films were inspired by Crowley’s philosophy and called them “visual incantations” and “moving spells.” Anger considered Crowley a unique genius. Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones and Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin both scored soundtracks for Anger’s films about Crowley. See “Led Zeppelin” for more about Page’s enthusiasm for Crowley.
Crowley’s photo appeared on the Beatles’ Sgt. Pepper album cover. The Beatles testified that the characters who appeared on the album were their “heroes.” John Lennon explained to Playboy magazine that “the whole Beatles idea was to do what you want … do what thou wilst, as long as it doesn’t hurt somebody” (Lennon, cited by David Sheff, The Playboy Interviews with John Lennon and Yoko Ono, p. 61). This was precisely what Crowley taught.
